Neoteric commercial hovercraft utilized in Kuwait intertidal zone
Ecology and Environment is utilizing Neoteric commercial hovercraft on and around Bubiyan and Warbah Islands in Kuwait's intertidal zone to survey the environmental damage inflicted by the 1991 Persian Gulf War oil fires. As an efficient intertidal transport vehicle, the hovercraft is the only means of traversing muddy intertidal zones to conduct core sampling of the soil.
